Toms River, NJ - Robert Giovine (Men's Basketball) and Cara Cribbin (Women's Basketball) are in the midst of their best performances of the 2023-24 season. Giovine, a freshman guard from Brick Township H.S., shot the proverbial lights out on January 17, scoring 31 points on 12 for 14 shooting from the field in Ocean's 77-68 defeat of visiting RCSJ Gloucester. Cribbin, meanwhile, has been a stalwart of OCC Women's Basketball. The freshman center from Toms River South leads the team in nearly every offensive category, and had her highest scoring night of the season on January 18, with a 36-point performance in a losing effort to Brookdale CC. Cara is nearly averaging a double-double this season, with 15.6 points and 9.3 rebounds per game.
