Women's Basketball freshman guard Clairissa Joseph (Brick, NJ/Brick Memorial) has become a rebounding machine of late, grabbing a staggering 59 boards in her last 4 games, including 19 in Ocean's last contest on February 8. The Vikings have 2 games left in the regular season, and you'll likely find Clairissa in the paint! OCC Women's Basketball's next game will see them head to Brookdale CC on Tuesday, February 13 at 5 P.M.
Freshman guard Jeremy Grospe (Seaside Heights, NJ/South River) made his impression felt in OCC Men's Basketball's 90-67 road win at RCSJ Cumberland on February 8, matching his previous season-best with an 18 point effort. Jeremy's been a threat from the Vikings' reserves all season, as likely to spark his teammates as to score himself, with his Cumberland performance marking his 5th game this season in which he's scored 10-plus points. OCC Men's Basketball will next take the court on Thursday, February 13, when the Vikings host Delaware County CC for a 7 P.M. Region 19 match.
