Toms River, NJ - Ocean County College Men's Lacrosse kicked off their 2018-19 season on Saturday, and Vikings sophomore attacker Gavin Murphy was ready, scoring two goals and assisting on another in Ocean's 6-4 loss to Hudson Valley Community College. Murphy, who led the Vikings in assists (14) last season, and ranked second in goals (25) and points (39), will factor heavily in Ocean's offensive attack this year, as the team attempts to capture the NJCAA Region XIX Championship for the third consecutive season, en route to taking a run at the National Championship.
