Toms River, NJ - OCC Men's Tennis upset the defending Region XIX champion Roadrunners of Rowan College at Gloucester County on Tuesday (3/26), and freshman 1st Singles and 1st Doubles player Sean Boyle set the tone, winning both matches en route to a 6-3 Ocean win. Boyle followed this performance on Thursday (3/28) with a thrilling 1st Singles victory against Mercer County CC's Alfred Kandakai that featured a tie-breaking, 7-6 first set win that pushed both student-athletes to their limits, in a match that Ocean won 8-1, overall. Sean and OCC Men's Tennis will look to improve to 3-0 when they host local conference rival Brookdale Community College on Wednesday, April 3rd in a 3:30 p.m. showdown.
