Toms River, NJ - OCC Baseball earned their biggest win of the season on Saturday (4/16) in a 6-4 victory over the nationally-ranked #2 Dukes of RCSJ Cumberland, and Ocean sophomore pitcher Bart Goble led the way.
Goble, a 6'8" Toms River, NJ native, had a masterful performance on the mound against one of the most potent offenses in the nation, allowing just 4 hits over 7 innings and striking out 8, putting the Vikings in position to seize control of the matchup and secure the win.
"When Bart takes the mound for us, we're in our best position to win," remarked OCC Baseball Head Coach Ed McRae.
The Vikings' next game is Tuesday, April 19, when they head to Montgomery County Community College for a 3:30 P.M. matchup against the Mustangs.
