Toms River, NJ - Congratulations to Claudia Cosme and Brett Leschinski, our OCC Vikings of the Week!
Claudia Cosme - OCC Women's Volleyball began their 2024 season on August 28, and are currently undefeated through their 1st two matches, with sophomore outside hitter Claudia Cosme leading the team in points (25) and kills (19). She also ranks 2nd on the Vikings in digs, with 32. Cosme, a Toms River, NJ native (TR East H.S.), was named to the All-Region 19 and All-Garden State Athletic Conference teams in her freshman season, and will factor heavily in the Vikings' plans for a successful 2024 run.
Brett Leschinski - OCC Men's Soccer defender/goalkeeper Brett Leschinski has made his presence felt through the Vikings' 1st two matches of the season, supplying the game-winning goal in Ocean's season opener, and assisting on a goal in the team's 4-2 loss last Saturday (9/7). Brett's aggressive play on defense combined with his offensive prowess make him an important piece of the Ocean puzzle, wherever he is on the pitch.
