Toms River, NJ - OCC Esports sophomore Jacob Leiva fell in Super Smash Bros. Ultimate battle to Madison County CC, 4-0 on Tuesday (12/8), ending his NJCAAE postseason run in the 2nd round. Leiva, the Vikings' team captain, finishes the season with a record of 7-3, and with 14 total victories in his two seasons of competition.
"I couldn't be prouder of our team," remarked OCC Esports Head Coach John Ruhl. "Despite all of the 'offline' challenges faced this season, they stuck together and worked hard, week after week. We're looking forward to possibly competing in even more games next season."
