Toms River, NJ - OCC Men's Tennis wrapped their first day today at the NJCAA Region XIX Tournament locked in a 1st place tie with the defending champion Roadrunners of Rowan College at Gloucester County. With wins in 1st (Sean Boyle), 2nd (Liam Raftery), 3rd (Yanir Shriki), and 5th (Tyler Laycock) singles, as well as 1st (Boyle/Raftery) and 2nd (Shriki/Jack Schneider) doubles, the Vikings fought hard and won often. The team will return to action tomorrow (5/4) for the final day of play at Mercer County Park in West Windsor, NJ at 10am to determine who advances to the NJCAA D-III Nationals in Peachtree City, GA.
