Alana Keffer Joins OCC Women's Soccer as Assistant Coach

Toms River, NJ - Alana Keffer has joined Ocean County College's Women's Soccer program in the position of Assistant Coach.

A graduate of Point Pleasant Borough H.S., Keffer started on the varsity soccer team as a freshman, and in 2009 helped the team capture their first-ever Group 3 Sectionals win. Alana next attended William Paterson University, where she played soccer all four years while majoring in Communications. She was named 2nd Team All-Conference in her senior year, and achieved honorable mention in both her sophomore and junior years.

In addition to serving as Assistant Coach for OCC Women's Soccer, Coach Alana helps coach a U13 Monmouth Coast travel team in the EDP Conference, and works at LADACIN Network - an agency that provides a continuum of care including educational, therapeutic, social and residential services to infants, children and adults with complex physical and developmental disabilities or delays.

"I plan to share my passion and enjoyment of soccer with the team, and remind players to value their time with a ball at their feet," remarked Coach Keffer.

OCC Women's Soccer kicks off their 2019-20 season on September 7th.
