Toms River, NJ - OCC Baseball swept their 3rd doubleheader in as many days, with 12-2 and 3-2 wins on Monday (4/9) against visiting Middlesex County College. Winning pitchers were Don Zellman (Game 1) and Ian Ambrose in (Game 2), both with complete games.
GAME 1: Sean Bernardo and Kyle Lauria were Ocean's leading hitters in this game, with Bernado driving in 3 runs, and Lauria with 2 RBI.
GAME 2: Tied at 2 in the bottom of the 7th inning, Vikings sophomore 1st baseman Nick Moglia ended the game with an RBI single, giving Ocean the 3-2 win, and the team its 7th win in 8 games.
The Vikings return to action on Tuesday (4/10), when they travel north to face their archrivals, Brookdale Community College for a doubleheader.
