Toms River, NJ - OCC Vikings Baseball dropped a close contest to nationally ranked Brookdale Community College by the score of 8-5 on Tuesday (3/26), snapping their 5-game win streak. The game was close until the 7th inning, when Brookdale erupted for 3 runs, exploiting a series of costly walks and errors by the Vikings. Ocean sophomore Sean Bernardo singled and drove in 2 runs for the Vikings, while Kyle Lauria continued to impress, with a 2-hit performance.
The Vikings return to action on Thursday, March 28th, when they host Rowan College at Burlington County in a 3:30 p.m. matchup.
