Toms River, NJ - OCC Baseball (20-9) took a road loss on Tuesday (4/23), in a 6-5 defeat at the hands of the Atlantic Cape Buccaneers. Ocean starting pitcher Don Zellman struck out 10 over 6 innings in the loss, while Mike Valerio hit 2-2 (with a double), Dylan Beyer went 2-3 (with a double and 2 RBIs), and Matt Sullivan batted 2-4 in the loss. Zellman is now ranked 3rd in the nation in wins (7), and 7th in strikeouts (66).
The Vikings turn around and get right back to work on Wednesday, April 24th, when they head to Mercer County CC to take on the D-II Vikings in a 3 p.m. game.
