Toms River, NJ - OCC Baseball (7-11) snapped a vicious 6-game winless streak with a dominant 10-5 road win at Bergen Community College on Tuesday (4/11).

Ocean sophomore pitcher Dylan Wanagiel went the distance, striking out 3 over 7 innings to secure the win, while freshman 3rd baseman Rian O'Rourke exploded in the batter's box, going 2-for-2 with 2 doubles, and 3 RBI. Sophomore 1st baseman Trevor Coltenback doubled and drove in 2 runs on 3-for-4 hitting. Freshman Shawn McNiff drove in a run, and sophomore Alex Alonso and freshman Devon Smith each blasted doubles in this much-needed victory.

"Great effort from our team today," stated OCC Baseball Head Coach Ed McRae. "We're entering a stretch now where we're going to be playing 3-game series stacked next to each other, and we'll have to be ready, day in and day out, to face those challenges." 

OCC Baseball returns to action on Wednesday, April 12, when they host Bergen in a 3:30 P.M. matchup.
