OCC Men's Basketball Picks Up 1st Win of Season in 102-79 Win at Bergen CC

Toms River, NJ - OCC Men's Basketball (1-2) stormed out of the gate and didn't look back, scoring 56 first half points in a 102-79 victory at Bergen Community College on Thursday (11/29).

Ocean sophomore Alfred Demby led the offensive charge for the Vikings, with 23 points and 7 rebounds, but this win was a total team effort. Freshman Anthony Petit-Clair added 18 points, 8 rebounds, and 4 assists, Francis Robles scored 17, with 5 rebounds and a team-leading 7 assists, and Tyric Trapp contributed 16 points and 8 rebounds in what marked Ocean's first win of the season. "We did a great job starting off strong and jumping out to a lead," stated OCC Men's Basketball Head Coach Patrick Boylan. "We showed good poise and were able to maintain and build the lead in the 2nd half."

The Vikings will look to make it two in a row when they travel to Camden County College on Saturday, December 1st for a 2 p.m. tip-off.
