Toms River, NJ - Ocean County College Men's Basketball slipped to 5-6 overall in a 95-70 loss to nationally-ranked #8 Northampton Community College on Saturday (12/14).
Ocean sophomore Anthony Petit-Clair's 20 points led Vikings' scorers, with sophomore Carson Glenn Francisco and freshman Na'Sir Dillard bringing in 15 and 11 points, respectively, in a game that was decided in the paint. The Spartans were aggressive on both ends of the court, pulling in 49 total rebounds to the Vikings' 27, setting up scoring opportunities that allowed them to build and pad a lead from 18 points at the half to 25 at the buzzer.
The Vikings next hit the court on Tuesday, December 17th, when they host conference rival Atlantic Cape Community College for a 7 p.m. matchup.
