Toms River, NJ - OCC Vikings Lacrosse (3-6) traveled north on Saturday (4/7) to take on the nation's top-ranked Onondaga Community College. The Vikings gave everything they had, but the depth and experience of Onondaga was just too much, as Ocean fell by a 27-5 final score. Despite the loss, the Vikings showed that they are able to play with the best in the nation. Leading the way for Ocean were AJ Alvarez (2g), James Manzo (2g), and Henry Moran (1g). The Vikings' defense, led by Mike Trezza (14 saves), showed how tough and resilient the team can be when faced with adversity.
The Vikings return to action on Wednesday, April 11 when they host Region 15's Nassau Community College for a 4:30 p.m. matchup.
