OCC Men's Lacrosse Bounces Back with 25-6 Win Against ASA College

Toms River, NJ - OCC Vikings Men's Lacrosse (3-3) bounced back strongly from a tough loss on the road last weeki, picking up a 25-6 win on Tuesday (4/2) against visiting ASA College. 

Ocean jumped out to a hot start, leading 12-2 after the first half of play. The team kept up their momentum in the second half, outscoring ASA 13-4 in the final 2 quarters.

Ocean sophomore Sean Menjivar had a career-high game, scoring 6 goals on 7 shots while also adding 2 assists & 5 ground balls. 

Nine different Vikings contributed to the offense, with 8 players having multiple scores. Dillon Clark (4G, 1A) & Gavin Murphy (3G, 1A).

Hunter Vojtko played a huge role in the win, contributing all over the field with 2G, 2A and a team high 8 GBs

Sean Tursi was tremendous at the face-off X,  winning 21 of 27 while also adding 3G, 1A. Tursi along with Jeffrey Fischer (2G) scored their first collegiate goals in the win.

Ocean returns to action on Saturday, April 6th when they host Delaware Tech CC in a 1 p.m. matchup.
