Toms River, NJ - The OCC Vikings Men's Soccer team slipped to an overall record of 1-1 on the season after a 4-2 loss to the visiting Blue Colts of Middlesex College on Saturday (9/10).
Ocean sophomore team captain Johnny Hart scored his 2nd goal in as many games, blasting in a penalty kick in the match's 39th minute, with freshman Preston Kyriakoulis (assisted by Alexander Granda) supplying the Vikings' 2nd goal in the 42nd, courtesy of a perfectly-placed header off of Granda's corner kick. Ocean freshman goaltender Dawson Kaniuk made 8 stops in the loss.
The Vikings return to action on Thursday, September 15, when they host Raritan Valley Community College for a 4 P.M. Region XIX matchup.
