Toms River, NJ - OCC Softball split a pair of games with GSAC rival Camden County College on Monday (4/9), winning Game 1, 7-6, and losing the 2nd, 13-11.
GAME 1: Sam Lanzano hit 3-4 with a double, home run, and 3 RBI in Ocean's 7-6 win. Maggie McCarthy went 2-3 with a triple and 2 RBI as well.
GAME 2: Completing a suspended game, both teams scored 1 run in the 8th before Camden opened the 9th with 5 runs. Ocean battled back, scoring 3 in the bottom of the 9th with the tying run at the plate, but fell short, losing 13-11.
The Vikings return to action tomorrow (4/10) when they host Cumberland CC for a doubleheader.
