Toms River, NJ - OCC Vikings Softball (10-13) picked up their 10th win of the season in a doubleheader split against visiting Cumberland County College.
GAME 1: Tough game for the Vikings, with 3-0 shutout loss. Monica Brignola went 2-3, and Cassidy Buckley hit 2-2 with a walk and stolen base in the contest.
GAME 2: Ocean bounced back from their Game 1 loss with a 5-inning, 12-4 win. Gabby Loffredo went 2-3, and Maggie McCarthy hit 2-4 with a double and 2 runs scored, while Shea Branda batted 2-3 with a run scored and 2 stolen bases.
The Vikings return to action on Thursday, April 12 when they travel to Middlesex County College for a 3:30 p.m. conference doubleheader.
