Toms River, NJ - OCC Women's Softball (12-17) find themselves in a 4-game losing streak, after dropping two tough games on the road to a surging Mercer County Community College team.
GAME 1: Hailey Dries pitched well in Ocean's 3-0 Game 1 loss, allowing just 2 earned runs and allowing 7 hits. The Vikings had 4 hits in the 7th inning, but failed to score. Sam Lanzano hit 2-3 in the loss.
GAME 2: Game 2 did not go well for Ocean in any way, as the Vikings fell to Mercer in 5 innings by a 12-0 final score. Numerous lapses in defense contributed to Ocean's downfall in this matchup.
The Vikings will look to get back to their winning ways on Sunday, April 22nd, when they travel to Bucks County Community College for a 12 p.m. doubleheader.
