Toms River, NJ - OCC Women's Softball (16-17) played their last two home games of the regular season against D-II opponent Raritan Valley Community College on Tuesday (4/24), and swept them in decisive fashion.

GAME 1 - Sam Lanzano hit 2-2 with an RBI and a sacrifice fly while Gabby Loffredo hit 2-3 with an RBI as Ocean defeated Raritan Valley in 5 innings, by a 9-1 final score.

GAME 2 - Monica Brignola went 2-3 with an RBI and 3 runs scored, while Shea Branda batted 2-3 with 1 run scored as Ocean completed the doubleheader sweep with a 11-3, 5-inning win in Game 2. Sophomore pitcher Bailey Lengyel picked up the win in this contest, her 3rd of the season.

These games marked the final regular season appearances of departing players/sophomores Shea Branda, Monica Brignola, Morgan Felger, Sam Lanzano, Bailey Lengyel, Gabby Loffredo and Maggie McCarthy. They will be sorely missed!

The Vikings' final 2 games of the regular season are on Sunday, April 29, when they travel to Northampton Community College for a 12 p.m. doubleheader versus the Spartans.
