OCC Softball Head Coach Courtney joined the OCC Softball program in the position of assistant coach with the 2019-20 season. An extremely talented former softball player, Courtney was a 4-year starter and 2-year captain at Kean University, was named an NJAC Player of the Week, and to the NCAA All-Regional Tournament Team, among other honors. As a coach, Courtney has instructed players of all ages, from serving as head coach with NJ Insanity fastpitch travel softball, to drilling down fundamentals at Frozen Ropes Training Center, to assistant coaching the Union High School varsity squad. The 2023-24 season marks Coach Courtney's 1st as head coach of the program.
