Toms River, NJ - The drought is over! After 16 consecutive losses, OCC Vikings Women's Basketball (1-16) won their first game of the season on Tuesday (1/30) in a 62-54 home victory against Cumberland County College. Freshman Iyanla Donaldson scored her second double-double in as many games with a 14 point, 19 rebound effort, while sophomore Monica Brignola scored 17 points and grabbed 9 rebounds. Sophomore team captain Sydney Ulrich contributed 21 points in the win as well.
The Vikings will look to begin a win streak on Saturday, when they host Passaic County Community College in a 12 p.m. match-up.
