Toms River, NJ - OCC Women's Basketball lost their second game in a row on Tuesday (11/21), in a 80-42 defeat versus visiting Atlantic Cape Community College.
Ocean began the game explosively in the first half, leading Atlantic Cape by 11 eleven points early in the contest. Unfortunately, they could not hold on to the lead and fell behind in the second half, with the Bucs outscoring the Vikings 54-23 in the final 20 minutes.
Vikings freshman Amy Galasso had an outstanding game, posting 25 points and 14 rebounds in the Ocean effort.
"All of our women have shown great improvement since the first scrimmage," remarked OCC Head Coach Avery Hodgson-Walters. "We're really looking forward to seeing how they'll grow as a team through the next few months."
The Vikings return to action on Thursday, November 29th, when they travel to Bergen Community College for a 5 p.m. conference matchup.
