Toms River, NJ - OCC Women's Basketball (0-10) continues to work toward their first win of the season after a 64-33 road loss to Sussex County Community College.
Ocean freshman Kyarra Williams scored a team-high 17 points, while Jenna Kulinski pulled down 9 rebounds in a game in which the Vikings fought hard for every point.
"We had a great first half, but were still down by 14," stated OCC Head Coach Avery Hodgson-Walters. "Unfortunately, we didn't come out as strong in the second half, and the point gap increased. Despite the loss, this was the best game we have played all season."
The Vikings will return to action on Tuesday, January 8th, when they travel to Montgomery County Community College for a 5:30 p.m. showdown with the Mustangs.
