Toms River, NJ - Ocean County College Vikings Volleyball displayed midseason form and focus in a 3-0 sweep of Garden State Athletic Conference rival Middlesex County College on Thursday (9/26).
The Vikings amassed 24 kills over the 3-set match, closing out the Blue Colts with 25-11, 25-18, and 25-5 final scores. Sophomores Ashley Stickle, Gabriella Figueroa, and freshman libero Bailey Zrebiec covered the back court with ease, while Kristen Acosta's skill was on full display, as she consistently set Ocean's hitters.
The Vikings improve their overall record to 4-2 (3-1 in GSAC), and next hit the court on Tuesday, October 1st, when they welcome the Union County College Owls to campus for a 7 p.m. conference match.
