Women's Basketball freshman guard Kaliana Kearney (Toms River, NJ/Toms River South) has been a reliable presence through her 12 games for the Vikings this season, averaging 8 points and 5 rebounds, including a 14-point effort in Ocean's January 9 matchup against Camden CC. Kaliana and OCC Women's Basketball next travel to RCSJ Gloucester for a matchup versus the Roadrunners on Tuesday, January 14 at 5 P.M.
Freshman guard Jamari Smith (Barnegat, NJ/Barnegat) returned from winter break playing some of his best basketball of the season, scoring a personal best 31 points to lead the Vikings past tough conference opponent Camden County College on January 9. Ocean has won 5 of their last 6 games, and will next face RCSJ Gloucester on January 14.
