Toms River, NJ - Congratulations to Tatiana Hernandez and Jamari Smith, our OCC Vikings Players of the Week!
OCC Basketball freshmen Tatiana Hernandez (Farmingdale, NJ/Howell) and Jamari Smith (Barnegat, NJ/Barnegat) were both recently named to the 2025 NJCAA All-Region 19 Teams in recognition of their fantastic play this year. Tatiana was remarkably consistent for our women's team this season, averaging 14 points and 6 rebounds per game, while Jamari (15.3 points and 7 rebounds per game) was a key component in Ocean's men's basketball team tearing through the 2nd half of their season, winning 11 of their final 14 games en route to earning 16 overall wins on the year.
