Toms River, NJ - OCC Softball freshman Averie Barneman has been outstanding this season for the Vikings, leading the team offensively with a .389 batting average and .556 slugging percentage through their 1st 12 games, and making key defensive plays that have kept Ocean in the game on more than one occasion. The Brick, NJ native will be a key factor going forward as Ocean strives to put some wins on the board.
