Toms River, NJ - The OCC Vikings Women's Soccer team is off to a strong start this season, amassing an undefeated 4-0 record thus far, with all wins coming via shutout. Ocean has outscored their opponents 26-0 over that span, with team co-captain and goalkeeper Simi Clapman impenetrable in net, making 17 saves. Clapman, a Lakewood, NJ native, is new to the position, having played it for the first time partway through the 2018-19 season, but her eagerness to learn and her participating in an offseason training regimen has quickly yielded positive results. Clapman will play an instrumental role in the team's fortunes, as the Vikings push for a postseason berth and beyond.
