Dallas Medeiros Named Head Coach of OCC Men's Tennis Program

Toms River, NJ - The Ocean County College Athletic Department has announced the hiring of Dallas Medeiros in the position of Head Coach for the OCC Vikings Men's Tennis team. Medeiros, who held the position of Volunteer Assistant Coach of the team last season, takes the proverbial wheel of a team that finished that 2018-19 season ranked fourth in the nation, with a 5-1 overall regular season record.

Medeiros, a former multi-sport student-athlete, was an All-American in Track and Field (Distance Medley Relay) for Toms River South, and is a graduate of Arcadia University, where he was a member of the Men's Swimming and Lacrosse teams. Additionally, he recently earned a Master's degree in Exercise Science from Liberty University. Medeiros currently serves as Assistant Tennis Instructor at the Toms River Country Club, where he also holds the position of Head of Strength and Conditioning for their summer programs.

"We had a breakout season in 2019, and with our combination of returning players and promising new recruits, I'm looking forward to another great showing by our exceptional student-athletes," remarked Medeiros.
