Toms River, NJ - Ocean County College's men's and women's basketball teams hosted an All-Skills Clinic on Saturday, January 27 in the OCC Gymnasium. In lieu of monetary payment, participants were encouraged to bring in items to donate to Family Promise of the Jersey Shore, a local charity that seeks to aid homeless families in Ocean County. Open to children ranging from ages 5-12, the event drew over 50 young athletes to campus, who received instruction from both student-athletes and coaches alike.
"What a great community event," remarked OCC Executive Director of Athletics Ilene Cohen. "Many thanks to our fantastic student-athletes and staff who graciously donated their time to such a worthy cause."
