Women's Basketball's Shaunna Bruker Named NJCAA D-III Player of the Week!

Toms River, NJ - Ocean County College Women's Basketball sophomore Shaunna Bruker was named D-III Women's Basketball Player of the Week for the week ending January 6, 2020 by the National Junior College Athletic Association (NJCAA). Bruker, a sophomore guard from Brick, NJ, has earned a double-double in each of Ocean's 11 games this season. She is currently ranked 1st in the nation with 22.5 rebounds per game, and 10th with 23.3 points per game. The Vikings are 9-2 overall, and are currently ranked 11th in national polling, due in no small part to Shaunna's efforts.

The Vikings return from winter break on Saturday, January 11th, when they host EPAC opponent Montgomery County Community College in a 12 p.m. matchup.
