Carman and Leonard Strong as OCC Esports Rolls Through Third Week of Play

Toms River, NJ - OCC Vikings Esports picked up two wins in their third week of competitive Super Smash Bros. Ultimate play, with Brandon Carman picking up his first head-to-head win since the first week of the Spring '20 season in a 4-2 victory against Eastern Arizona College. Luke Leonard picked up the Vikings' other win on the night, via a 4-0 shutout against Crowder College. Leonard is now 3-0 on the season.

"Brandon played well and improved to 2-1, and Luke keeps rolling," remarked OCC Esports Head Coach John Ruhl. "Nick Bushell has lost in two razor-thin matches in the last two weeks, and Jacob Leiva suffered a setback, but he'll do what good players do and bounce back next week."

The Vikings return to action on Tuesday, October 27 at 6 p.m. Catch the action live via the team's Twitch channel, located here.
