Toms River, NJ - OCC Esports followed up their strong showing in Week 3 with a 4-0 sweep in their fourth week of Super Smash Bros. Ultimate competition.
Nick Bushell picked up his first (non-forfeit) win of the season, in a 4-2 victory against Peninsula College, while Luke Leonard's 4-0 shutout of Community College of Beaver County extended his season-long unbeaten streak. Team captain Jacob Leiva regained the form that saw him nationally ranked last season, with a commanding 4-0 win versus Bismarck State College.
"We're halfway through the season, and all of our team have a real shot at the playoffs," remarked OCC Esports Head Coach John Ruhl. "We're looking forward to kicking off the second half."
