Toms River, NJ - OCC Women's Soccer freshman midfielder Rory Hagen has been named National Junior College Athletic Association (NJCAA) and Garden State Athletic Conference (GSAC) DIII Women's Soccer Player of the Week (9/25-10/1)! Hagen played an instrumental role in the Vikings' 4-1 defeat of D-II opponent Essex County College on September 28. Hagen, a Manahawkin, NJ native, figured in all 4 of Ocean's goals in the 4-1 win, scoring 3 and assisting on 1. Hagen currently leads nationally-ranked #8 Ocean with 5 goals and 12 points this season.

"Rory has been a leader for us offensively this season," stated OCC Women's Soccer Head Coach Breeana Cassidy. "She's great at creating the attack for us."

Rory and OCC Women's Soccer will next be seen in action on Saturday, October 7, when they visit Lehigh Carbon CC for a 12 P.M. Region 19 matchup.
