Toms River, NJ - OCC Esports ran roughshod over their Super Smash Bros. Ultimate competition on Wednesday (11/2), defeating 3 opponents and picking up a 4th win via forfeit.
Justin Ritter (5-0) won 3-1 over Mott Community College
Ken Piscopo (5-0) won 3-1 over Trinity Valley Community College
Julie Lees (5-0) won FF over Manhattan Borough Community College
Jackson French (5-0) won 3-0 over Waubonsee Community College
"Justin had a wild win over the top-ranked player in his group to remain undefeated," remarked OCC Esports Head Coach John Ruhl. "Jackson continues to put up strong performances, and Kenny P. looks like he turned a corner and is becoming an elite-level SSBU player. With 1 more win in the last 2 weeks, this could be the first time the entire team qualifies for the postseason. Two more weeks to go in the regular season, then it gets fun."
