Toms River, NJ - OCC Esports freshman Jackson French swept through the first 2 rounds of the NJCAAE postseason on Tuesday (4/20), with 4-0 wins in Super Smash Bros. Ultimate against Barton CC and Arizona Western College. French, a Brick, NJ native, proved unstoppable through the regular season, amassing a perfect 9-0 record en route to the postseason.
"Jackson was dominant in his playoff victories tonight," recounted OCC Esports Head Coach John Ruhl. "He had some close sets, but Jackson is one of the best players at making adjustments. He does a good job of figuring out his opponent's play style quickly, and then taking advantage of any bad habits or mistakes they have. It's going to be a fun ride."
