John Merklin Named Assistant Coach of OCC Women's Soccer Program

Toms River, NJ – The Ocean County College Athletic Department has announced the hiring of John Merklin for the position of Assistant Coach of their Women’s Soccer program. Merklin, a 1994 graduate of OCC, has spent the last 20 years in the sport of soccer, with roles ranging from coach, to trainer, to referee. John's most recent position was with Jersey Shore Boca, where he served as coach and trainer for current and incoming college level players.

"It's been my dream to coach soccer at the collegiate level, so I'm very excited for this opportunity," remarked Merklin. "I'm looking forward to working with Coach Breeana and our team of talented women."
