Toms River, NJ - OCC Baseball followed April 14's 17-16 home win versus Camden County College with a doubleheader split at Camden this afternoon (4/15). Ocean freshman 3rd baseman Rian O'Rourke blasted a double, triple and drove in a run, freshman left fielder Shawn McNiff drove in 3, freshman centerfielder Devon Smith had 2 RBI, sophomore shortstop Alex Alonso belted a double and drove in a run, and sophomore catcher Eli McEwan brought in a run in today's 9-8 game 2 win. Rian O'Rourke has been extremely potent at the plate this season. The Little Egg Harbor, NJ native leads all OCC starters with a .367 average, and leads the team in hits (29), runs (20), and extra base hits (9).
The Vikings will return to action on Wednesday, April 19, when they head to D-II opponent County College of Morris for a matchup against the Titans.
