Toms River, NJ Mike Golden continued his hot 3 point shooting last night in a close loss to D2 Mercer County. The Freshmen sank 3 treys in the first half giving the Mercer defense trouble keeping up with him. Ocean County College also had 9 first half points from Ted Telemaque to help the Vikings to a 32-27 halftime lead.
After a 22 day winter break, the Vikings had a tough 2nd half shooting night and finished the game with a 5 point loss. Leading the way for Ocean County College was Mike Golden with 16 points and 6 rebounds, Ted Thelemaque 15 points and 17 rebounds.
The Vikings have another 6 straight home games continuing this Saturday at 2pm against Union County.
