Toms River, NJ Ocean County College Men's Basketball team fought back from a 10 point halftime deficit to beat Northhampton CC 72-69. Ocean played most of the game without its leading scorer Mike Golden (Flu and foul trouble), but utilized a tough man defense to comeback and take the lead in the final 2 minutes onto the win in dramatic fasion.
Leading the way for the Vikings tonight was Sophomore Forward Brian Sullivan with 16 points and 10 rebounds. Freshmen Ted Thelemaque had 17 points and 10 rebounds, and Corey Thomas added 17 points. Ocean had a huge lift during its comeback from Deion Utrera 10 points...2 big treys to bring vikings within 1 point. Ted Thelemaque hit the go ahead trey ball to seal the deal!!
Ocean County College will continue its next game on the road at Morris CC on Tuesday Jan 26th at 7pm.
