Vikings Defeat Atlantic Cape 107-94 to Clinch Second Straight Victory

Toms River, NJ - The Ocean County College men's basketball team eclipsed the 100-point mark on Tuesday night (11/22), as four players finished in double figures en route to the Vikings' 2nd straight victory, a 107-94 final versus Atlantic Cape Community College.

After an 11-point halftime lead, the Vikings increased their lead in the second half to16 points with 7 minutes left to play, in the convincing victory. Sophomore point guard Corey Thomas led the Vikings' offensive attack with a career high 33 points and 8 assists in 29 minutes of play. Sophomore shooting guard Mike Golden contributed another solid performance, posting 25 points, with 9 rebounds and 5 steals. Ted Thelemaque recorded his second straight double-double, with 22 points and 13 rebounds, and 6' 7" freshman Roy Russell IV contributed a season best 17 points and 10 rebounds as well.

Up next, the Vikings travel to Long Island, NY to participate in the Nassau Community College Thanksgiving Classic, where they'll take on Nassau on Saturday (11/26), and LaGuardia Community College in Garden City, NY on Sunday (11/27).
