Vikings Beaten by Rowan College at Burlington County, 80-67

Toms River, NJ - The Vikings were defeated by Division II opponent Rowan College at Burlington County by a final score of 80-67 on Tuesday (12/6). The Barons are the tallest team the Vikings have faced this season, with four players standing at 6'7" and taller, and they controlled the rebounding all evening, frustrating the home team. The Vikings cut a second half lead by RCBC down to 7 points with 10 minutes left, but their lack of rebounding opportunities made the task of catching up all but impossible. Mike Golden lead Vikings scoring with 22 points, 4 rebounds and 3 steals. Roy Russell IV contributed another double-double, with 10 points and 12 rebounds, and Corey Thomas finished the game with 14 points.

Next up for the Vikings will be a road contest at Cumberland County College on Thursday (12/8), at 7pm.
