Toms River, NJ - After a back-and-forth battle all game, it took a final second shot for the #1-ranked Passaic County Panthers to come away with a victory over the Vikings on Saturday (12/10). The resilient Vikings trailed by 5 at halftime, with the lead constantly changing hands, but ultimately fell just short in this heated conference battle. Sophomore guard Mike Golden led the charge for the Vikings, with 29 points. Corey Thomas contributed 18 points, Mergim Gjyriqi netted 13 points, and Roy Russell IV had 8 points and 16 rebounds.

The Vikings head back out on the road this Tuesday (12/13) to face the Mustangs of Montgomery County Community College at 7pm.
