Toms River, NJ - The Ocean County College men's basketball team defeated rival Brookdale Community College on Thursday (12/15), by a final score of 86-83. The Vikings' sophomores shined bright all night in what amounted to a total team effort. Leading by a single point at halftime, the Vikings increased the margin to 15 points early in the second half, before the Jersey Blues closed the gap. Vikings sophomores Ted Thelemaque scored 28 points and grabbed 4 rebounds, Corey Thomas netted 21 points and 6 assists, Mike Golden added 15 points, 5 rebounds and 5 assists, Jordan Craig contributed 8 points, 10 rebounds and 3 blocks, and freshman RJ Laing added 10 points and 8 rebounds.
