Toms River, NJ - The Ocean County College Vikings defeated Bergen Community College on Saturday (12/17) by a final score of 74-67. Leading by 3 points at halftime, the Viking sophomores lead a tough defensive 2nd half with blocked shots and key rebounds. Jordan Craig had another big night on the defensive end, with 16 rebounds and 4 blocked shots, along with 9 points. Corey Thomas dropped 23 points and added 5 assists, and Mike Golden finished the game strong with 22 points, 6 rebounds and 3 steals. Ted Thelemaque also contributed a double double, with 10 points and 10 rebounds.
Next up for the Vikings will be a trip north on Monday (12/19), where they will do battle with Camden County College. Tip-off is at 7pm.
