Toms River, NJ - The Ocean County College Vikings defeated regional rival Lehigh Carbon Community College by a score of 68-67 on Wednesday (1/11). Sophomore guard Mike Golden led the scoring charge with 21 points and 6 rebounds, followed by Ted Thelemaque's 18 points, 14 rebounds and 2 blocks, but it was guard Corey Thomas's two free throws with 9 seconds left in the game that put the Vikings ahead by a point, and inched the team to victory (Thomas scored 14 points in total on the evening).
The Vikings' next game is on the road on Saturday (1/14), versus Delaware County Community College.
