Toms River, NJ - The Ocean County College Vikings men's basketball team opened their season on the road on Thursday (11/17) with a tough 102-67 loss to Division II opponent Raritan Valley Community College. OCC sophomore RJ Laing began his second season with an outstanding performance, scoring 15 points and pulling down 22 rebounds, while freshman forward Alfred Demby made his presence felt with a 22 point debut, against an aggressive Golden Lion defense.
The Vikings will look for their first win of the season in their home opener against Montgomery County Community College, taking place on Saturday, November 18 at 2 p.m.
